Spend that special time on "Love Island".

Kouri Island is located in the ocean north of Motobu Peninsula and is connected by Kouri Bridge. The Okinawan legend of Adam and Eve remains on this island dotted with many beautiful beaches,which is also known as “Love Island”.

TOWER

A viewing tower where you can see the beautiful blue of the sky and sea.

The white observation tower at a height of 82 meters above sea level is in a great location to overlook Kouri Bridge. On the first floor there is the Kouri Island Museum, where the history of Kouri Island is displayed; the second and third floors are indoor observation areas; there is an ocean deck on the rooftop, where you can view the beautiful full panoramic landscape. You can travel up to the tower through the subtropical gardens by cart. Enjoy recording it all as you feel the landscape and sea breeze flow by.

SHELL MUSEUM

A museum where you can learn about wonder of seashells

It is a museum that has collected more than 10,000 seashellfs from around the world. Heart type and colorful shellfish are displayed in the museum, and you can learn about wonder of seashells. There is also a shell shop where you can purchase such items as accessories and tableware made from seashells, matching rings as a keepsake for couples, variety goods you’ll want to give to your friends, shell lamps to gently light up your room, and rare red coral.

RESTAURANT

Enjoy a luxurious lunch while looking out over the beautiful ocean

In the Kouri Ocean Tower, we have two restaurants: “Ocean Cafe”, with its highly-regarded authentic Napolitan pizza, made using our select pastry and Okinawan ingredients, and baked in a special 500-degree oven, and sweets and drinks made with tropical fruits; and the main dining “Restaurant Island Blue”, where you can enjoy lunch made with plenty of Okinawan ingredients. Please spend lunch or cafe time here, gazing out at the clear cobalt blue sea.

Why not purchase some unique Kouri Island souvenirs?

At the shop in Kouri Island Ocean Tower, we have a wealth of limited products and Yunibaru special products, including original sweets made in our own factory, variety goods and wines, cosmetics, all available only here. Sweets made from Kouri Island pumpkins are popular for their mild sweetness, and include “Cabonee” Western-style sweet buns, and Monde Selection Gold Prix-winning pound cake and roll cake.

WEDDING

Pledge your eternal love on “Love Island”. We have prepared a variety of wedding plans, including wedding photos celebrating your happiness, garden, restaurants and more.

PARTY

We accept booking for party plans in the garden surrounded by the nature of Okinawa or in our restaurants with their wonderful views.
